We learn from failure
Moment of truth:
The first time I had a difficult conversation after being promoted into leadership it did not go well.
Actually, it went terribly.
I wasn't sure what to do.
I wasn't prepared.
I stumbled over my words.
It left both of us feeling frustrated.
But it was one of the most important experiences of my leadership journey.
It taught me that growth doesn't happen in the comfort zone.
And leadership isn't about having all the answers.
It's about being open to learning, even from your mistakes.
That conversation was a turning point.
It made me dive into developing my leadership skills.
Through continuous learning, I turned those first mistakes into confident steps forward.
We learn from failures.
They might not feel great in the moment.
But they're the stepping stones to becoming the leaders we're meant to be.
