Everyone needs a Rebecca Malotke-Meslin in their life.

Last week when I was missing out on the fun at the Enrollment Management Association Annual Conference, I got a text message with the following photos.

I'd been Flat Stanley-ed!

I laughed so hard and felt seen.

It's hard seeing so much of your network in one place when you aren't there.

But honestly, find yourself a Rebecca.

Someone who is your never-ending cheerleader.

Someone you can call to talk out any work issue.

Someone who will be completely honest with you.

Someone who will Flat Stanley your photo and bring you with her to a conference.

We don’t thrive on our own.

We need others who help light the path and offer support.

Remember, leadership isn’t about being alone at the top.

Embrace the network of people who can make the journey meaningful and fulfilling.
